Unfortunately not Rich, sorry! FSX is simply too old now. If you have a
young computer, try P3D you won't be disappointed ;)
Best regards,
Lars

Hi Lars (Sammy too),
Thnaks for the reply!
So this dinosaur isn't gonna be able to purchase EDDN!

How about other releases like KPDX, NZAA and NZWN?
Will they be available for FSX?

Hi polymerman,

Sorry, but NZAA and NZWN will be P3D4+ only. KPDX I'm not sure yet as I'll need to get that info from Bill Womack, but I wouldn't count on it either.

Thank you for your reply!
Sorry to hear this but I understand from the business point of view.
Most everyone 's leaving the VAS problematic FSX for the 64 bit babies.
I too have been tweaking FSX for years and still not happy with FSX.

But at my advanced years and pension income I'm not leaving FSX.

I really do appreciate Flightbeam's work and will keep looking to see what may be offered for FSX.

Thank you for the reply Rich.

Sorry to hear this but you definitely hit the nail on the head. I just think the VAS issues while trying to do long hauls, flying into big add-ons, or flying those really nice planes that we all spend so much on and then hitting the VAS crash finally reached it's point of no return. I was one of those "I will never leave FSX" people but man P3Dv4 just brought things to an entirely different level and without the VAS worries. I am not even sure where my copy of FSX is anymore.

Thank you again for the continued support Rich.

I installed EDDN Nuremberg for P3Dv4 a beautiful art work, indeed.
I also have EDDN version 1.03 for FSX and something going weird with jetways. I found from C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\xml\ a file Captain7_29Palms_EDDN_Default.xml when I leave it off then FSX jetways are as they should but jetways disappears in P3Dv4.3
How to exclude the jetways from that xml file in order to see FSX jetways correctly?

I could be wrong, but I believe this scenery is for P3Dv4 only, correct?

That's correct. But the P3Dv4 SODE is interfering with my EDDN freeware in FSX. How to fix it?

I'm not exactly sure that the following suggestion will work. FSX is still picking up the SODE placement file EDDN.xml that is located in this folder:

C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\xml

A solution would be to rename EDDN.xml to EDDN.xml.off prior to running FSX and renaming it after running FSX.

I know that and it is not the right solution. The procedure of renaming back and forth is annoying. I learned some Developer makes that SODE contents file separates one just for P3D and another just for FSX. Any other ideas? …...

Have you tried asking that question in the SODE forums? It is an issue of the SODE jetways between two separate platforms which has nothing to do with us or our product.

I understand you are saying that the EDDN file is the issue, however, it is being driven off the SODE engine not the EDDN scenery itself.

As mentioned above, this is probably more of a question for the SODE forum than ours.

SODE resolved the issue. Thanks for your help.
