Just wanted to add:

KSFO HD is an entirely new product. Mir built it from the ground up. So you will see a big difference between the two, incorporating new techniques that were also used for KDEN.

Can't wait for this one either I purchased just recently SFOv2 just because of this being released soon. SFOv2 is still awesome in it's own right. I was wondering if you are a user of v2 will there be a discount for HD? If not that's fine totally understand how much time and effort a rework can be full price will be fine if there isn't one for the older version.

I'll give a written update for now, which will precede actual screenshots in the coming weeks. The terminals are just being finished up now and the last touches are going on this week. Every single terminal was treated the quality level seen in the first screenshots.

As soon as I get some jetways up and some basic groundwork under those terminals, more screenshots will arrive.

Also i have the same question posted above, for the current customers of KSFO will be a discount on the HD version. At least an small one?

Thanks and Happy New Year.

All current KSFO customers will receive a discount on the new KSFO HD. The exact amount has yet to be announced. 8-)

And apologies for the lack of previews, I'm currently on paternity leave with a new member in the family, so things have been slowed a bit. But not for too long.

It's South America or Sudamerica or in Spanish will be "America Del Sur". That has a lot of cool airports to be done specially Colombia and so forgotten. Just leave here a few reference for airports that can be made. SKBG, SKMZ, SKMD, SKPS, SKCG, SKCC. Also of South America very important places to be covered New airport for Quito, SAWH, SBRF, SEGU, SVMG to name some places that does not have a good rendition yet. There are big airports and small ones there.

IIRC there are two versions of Quito in development, one by Dreamflight, one by Aerosoft

That's entirely based on the winds at SFO (which normally favor the 28s anyway AFAIK), if the 1s are set as takeoff runways in the AFCAD and/or if you have crosswind runways activated in the AFCAD. So the current one can, but I don't have it, and don't plan to buy it, so I can't help you with that. In short, it will be able to, you just have to set the sim up right.

The wait for KSFO is true torture.

Sunday I landed with 25-30 FPS in KPHX and it was such a nice approach. The airport is such a nice masterpiece. Can't wait for more airports from FlightBeam.

I really looking forward for KSFO and EDDF.

Hey folks,

I know there's definitely people waiting for previews right now. The reason I haven't put any new ones up is simply because KSFO HD is currently in a phase where all the puzzle pieces are slowly coming together. Until all those pieces together, the screenshots would look unfinished and sometimes ugly.
I can definitely tell you that 95% of buildings are completely finished.. and the terminals themselves are 100% finished. If you think the early shots of Terminal 2 look good, I can't wait to hear what you think about the International terminals which have considerable detail.

Just hang in there, it's all coming together!

Cheers,

Mir

Mir,

I know you probably dont want to give a timeframe for release but I really want to get KSFO. I was wondering if I should get V1 if the release is still quite a time away? Any chance of this getting released in Q2 2015? I can understand if you dont want to anwser but it would help me to decide if i should wait for V2 or get V1 and upgrade when V2 is released. Own all your other airports and couldnt be more impressed, really high quality scenery, thanks for all your hard work.

Regards

Steve.

You're right in that I can't give a timeframe, but I am hoping for Q2 release. Thanks for your support!

Mir,

Thanks for your quick response, can't wait for this airport to go with Orbx Northern California.
