KMSP - Update 1.0.1 released

Post by Mir // Flightbeam » Sun Jun 25, 2017 8:52 pm

KMSP update 1.0.1 has been issued.

There are two ways you can get your update.

1. Update through Flightbeam Manager (recommended)

Open the Flightbeam Manager, open the KMSP tab and you will see a prompt to update. Easy as that!

2. Re-download the installer, and re-install (after uninstall first)

I don't really recommend this as it takes more time and uses one of your "Re-Downloads" (you have 3 re-downloads available).
To do this, find your original KMSP order email, scroll all the way to the bottom where it says "Download Support", and click the link.
Once you're on that page, click the link where it says "Re-Download".

KMSP v1.0.1 Changelog:

- Fixed transparency issues with FSX SODE jetways
- Fixed FSX animation issue with jetways seen from distance
- Fixed Gate G17 jetway in the way of stop line
- Fixed issue with G4/G6 jetways occasionally sinking into ground
- Fixed AI aircraft not being able to use A-B concourse
- Fixed several AFCAD gate positions too close to terminal/jetways
- Fixed H6 AFCAD position offset
- Some grass polygons tweaked/removed
- Added custom GSX file defining positions for GSX service vehicles
- Various optimizations
- Fixed issue with photoreal ground disappearing under user aircraft*** (special note below)

***Note about this fix: To avoid a 700mb update, this particular file was not included in the liveupdate through the manager. You can either re-download the installer for the photoreal ground update, or just download here and place it in your "SIMROOT\Flightbeam\Flightbeam - KMSP\scenery"

Be advised there are still a few unresolved issues we're looking into, one particular issue being the ATIS frequency not working. This mystery is still being investigated. Thanks for your patience!

Hi!

I updated KMSP, but I cannot choose GSX vehicles in GSX menu, only parking gates.
Could you help me?

Parking brakes set?

Yes! Vehicles are working on other airports.

Try rebooting your PC, load up the sim and test. If you continue to have issues, open a support topic in our forums.

thanks.

I tried updating my scenery but I didn't see anywhere where it told me to update it?

When you start the Manager and go to the KMSP tab it should show you a green bar.
If you click on it, the update should start.
Best,
Lars

Would you like me to post a screen shot so I can show you what I see?

So once we use up so many downloads, we can no longer download.. So save the exe files from now on.. Because that's where I'm at.. I had to take off scenery too fix an issue, I thought my download would be there, i am being told now that I have exceeded my downloads and will not let me download any more.. So that's it. In order too download anymore I have to re buy the scenery ??

continental1589, you have completely described something that is not true. You get "x" number of downloads and at that point yes you have reached the download limit, that does not mean you cannot contact support and ask them to reset your downloads. When you email support (not just Flightbeam but any Add-on you buy for Flightsim) you should be able to provide sufficient proof of purchase with order number etc. If whoever does not offer extended download service or will not reset your downloads then it is highly encourage to simply backup your installers someplace safe. I have a 2TB external Hard Drive specifically for this reason. My main reason for an external is because it saves me an enormous amount of time in downloads any time I want to rebuild my machine.

Just some thoughts for you.
