I'd like to vote, but I don't see how. Do I need to be a verified customer? If so, how do I verify? (I own several FB products)

Thanks.

Everyone was tired from flying in Europe and the United States.
URSS - Sochi international airport - Sochi Russian - 22nd Olympic Winter Games -Best winter Olympic games according to the International Olympic Committee. Sea, mountains, landing approach only from the sea. Next to formula 1 track, very nice. :D

Interesting poll. IMHO, we could really do without yet another North American airport scenery for the time being.

Asia is sorely lacking:
VABB - Mumbai, ZBAD - New Beijing Daxing, LTFM - New Istanbul, WIII - Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta), VTBS - Bangkok Suvarnabhumi.

RJAA - Narita, CYYC - Calgary and SABE - Aeroparque Jorge Newbery have all very recently been announced by other developers.

First choice is Asia (something like Thailand/Vietnam/SE Asia). Then Europe but only really Dublin for that side.

Mir

Voted for NA ...... but equally anything of EDDN extent anywhere though I suspect most users prefer a "cluster" in a region for short haul flights (e.g. in NA where your coverage is that but with a few gaps in the midwest & east).

I do hope though you can "update" all your existings as well to that EDDN standard in the near term (practice for your next)
ie Many SODE features such as: Animated Jetways, Automatic season switching, Snow and rain layers, Animated windsocks
indicate wind speed and direction, Runway lights automatically switched on in low visibility (day & night).
cheers for now

I personally would like to see a little historic airfield on Long Island KFRG. It served as the airfield for Republic aviation. Currently the last hanger that P-47’s rolled out of is the current home of the American Air Power Museum. It’s a busy airport with a lot of GA and we do our charter flights out of their with Swift Air. I did a scenery for FSX years ago of KFRG. But if we’re talking about doing regions, then the NYC/NJ/Long Island area is a huge part of aviation history. KISP is just east of KFRG.

I seen some people posting JFK and EWR. If Flightbeam did those two that would be insane. But it would be hard being developers of Flightbeam live on the west coast I believe.

Apparently IND is being done and I heard recently that Shez plans on releasing DTW sometime this year. PHL all the way.

Newark would be awesome. It would fit in nicely with the other United hubs you guys have some (DEN/SFO/IAD) as well as fill a void in the market (we have a good JFK and LGA). Plus you guys would smash it out of the park in terms of quality and performance.

I would like to see a decent Brisbane though. The current offering is a bit long in tooth.

1. VTBS Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi (perfect location for long-haul and short-haul, tons of real-world flights with FSL A319/A320, PMDG 737/747/777 and QW 787 possible, diverse airlines, interesting architecture and layout)

2. RJTT Tokyo-Haneda (normally I would not nominate a scenery that was done in the last five years, but the current rendition leaves a lot to be desired)

3. VHHH (no trust at all in the update practices of a certain Mexican developer)

If it has to be an American airport than:
4. KEWR Newark
5. KCMH Columbus
6. KMCO Orlando
7. PHNL Honolulu

But frankly, whatever you decide to do will be worth to get. Thank you for reaching out to the community Mir.

Exactly the two regions that you have left out in your poll: South America and Africa.

A lot of great suggestions above... though I would also vote for another one in South America, such as SABE (Jorge Newbery) in Buenos Aires city, SAME (Mendoza) or SAZS (Bariloche) in the Andes wine capital or Patagonia.

I've voted for Asia, because like Africa (which is missing in the poll unfortunately), it's still quite underdeveloped. So my top 3 from Asia and some alternatives, if its gonna be North America:

1. Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam - VVTS (Big Hub, hasnt seen any love yet)
2. Muscat, Oman - OOMS (same as VVTS)
3. Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi (Big hub, with an outdated and not really P3D compatible scenery.

And my alternatives for NA:

1. New York-Newark - KEWR
2. Oakland - KOAK
3. Dallas Ft. Worth - KDFW (definitely deserves an update from the old FSDT version, same for KJFK...)

Well being that you guys are west coast why not KOAK? There’s o decent scenery and this would complement KSFOHD and the Bay Area.

Hello,

I vote for South America. SABE and SKBO apparently are in the works from other devs, but I haven't heard anything about SPJC, SAEZ, SUMU or anything in Brazil!

But, since South America is not in the poll, I have to vote Europe...EFHK or ESSB, maybe?

As others have said, thank you for this opportunity!

Regards,
Bruno.

Hi there,

I would also prefer non-Euro and non-North America. If it has to be North America then KDTW or KPHL. If it has to be Europe then EFHK or LTFM. Otherwise anything that hasn't been done recently.
Here are some hubs I'd like to see:

Africa:
FAOR
HAAB

Asia:
VTBS
ZBAA (people have reported issues with the version available and that's certainly a major hub that deserves the Flightbeam treatment ;-))
WMKK
WIII

Anything south of the US that hasn't been done recently would be welcome like MMMX, SVMI, SPJC

When it comes to Oceania what I would also love to see are some islands in the Pacific, perhaps some small project like NZWN ;-). NFFN, NVVV, NWWW and NTAA come to mind

Folks, before you all start screaming out airport wishes etc, please remember, that it would have to be airports, which are accessible and countries/authorities which are open and cooperative with regards to the work, visits and photo-surveys that FlightBeam understandably requires for making their airports.

The reason that many African and Asian airports are missing in flightsim, is sadly, that many of them doesn't meet these standards, and are quite restrictive when it comes to photo surveys and accessibility.

Personally I don't have any particular preference, since FlightBeam always warrents the very best. But please keep the above in mind, when complaining/suggesting destinations.

I have a feeling, that many are forgetting that developers just can't pick and choose... there's some requirements which have to be met, in order to make an airport with the quality, fidelity and details level, which FlightBeam does.

I'll cast my vote for PVD. The first airport built to our modern FS standards back in FS9. I miss it so much. If you guys needed photos or anything I could help out, as I work there. I'm sure whatever you choose will be amazing.

Psst.... PVD, lol.

An interesting airport would be Istanbul’s new airport.
Unfortunately the Turkish administration has become complicated.

Perth is a good choice to complete ORBX Australia.

KDTW would be a good one (that freeware one will most likely never see the light of day)

But I'd probably rather have updated flightbeam airports (like sfo) first.
